Orchard announced at the end of December 2011 that it had had a record-breaking year, with its turnover reaching £12.5 million, a 15 per cent increase on the previous year despite tough economic conditions.
Ian Shard, managing director, Orchard Information Systems, said, “We are now looking for 10 per cent growth this year. It’s going to be challenging but we have a broad portfolio of products and customers with many exciting new solutions for areas that have traditionally been quite labour intensive, which puts us in a strong position.”
