With the launch of its new Data CentrePlus service, Sovereign Business Integration is expanding its services to provide co-location, hosting, managed IT and outsourced IT services. The new ‘Metro Point’ data centre is 14 miles north of central London and within the M25.
Richard Barker, CEO, Sovereign Business Integration, said, “We have been offering data-centre services for over 15 years and as demand for hosted and outsourced IT continues to grow, this brand new facility will let us operate on a much wider scale and enable more customers to transition from on-premise IT to outsourced IT.”
Sovereign’s data-centre services can either be tailored to specific customer requirements or made available on an off-the-shelf basis. Sovereign is currently in the process of applying for ISO14001, 27001 and 9001 accreditations as well as the highly-coveted tier-III data-centre status. Once accredited, Sovereign said that its Metro Point facility will be the only tier-III data centre within the M25.
Joanna Sedley-Burke, business development director at Sovereign, said, “We are aware of the concerns many companies have when considering a move to outsourced IT. We will therefore have teams of technical and multi-discipline staff available to offer level 1, 2 and 3 support to customers around-the-clock.”
