Following a six-month implementation, Nottingham City Homes has expanded its existing ROCC Uniclass housing repairs and maintenance system to include mobile working software from 1st Touch and automatic work scheduling software from Xmbrace, both delivered by ROCC.
The new modules for responsive repairs and electrical tests have removed the need for manual scheduling processes and provide a more dynamic and automated end-to-end appointment system. It also has geographical route functionality to make sure that NCH workers optimise their time between jobs.
The benefits of this upgrade include integrating the front office, back office and mobile data systems to provide seamless handling of service requests, with real-time job dispatch and conflict resolution.
Gary Whittaker, assistant director of property services, Nottingham City Homes, said, “Using mobile technology and automated scheduling will make a huge difference to our appointments system. This will help us to get the job right first time, arrive with the correct materials on-site and complete more repairs each day.”
ROCC reported that the value of the NCH contract was around £250,000.
