Alternative Futures Group has been announced as the first housing provider to go live with ProcServe’s eMarketplace system for electronic procurement, delivered in partnership with Procurement for Housing.
The PfH Marketplace is a dedicated e-procurement and purchase-to-pay system specifically for housing providers, with the aim of helping them to reduce the cost of goods and services by providing them with easy access to pre-loaded collaborative contracts, simple connectivity to suppliers, and e-invoicing capabilities. The new service is available to all PfH members to access all of the consortium’s framework agreements.
Paul Kennedy, chief executive, CEL (Procurement for Housing’s contractor), said, “Using the PfH Marketplace will enable every supplier to become electronically enabled very quickly and for housing providers to have access to supplier-managed catalogues. Effectively, this will allow our members to buy collaboratively from centrally-provided commodity deals, leading to significant efficiency savings.”
