Thames Valley Housing Association has announced that it has chosen Sovereign Business Integration to oversee the implementation of a new housing management system from Civica. Sovereign will deliver independent validation and guidance during the two-year project and provide a regular project assurance service.
Caroline Morgan, head of ICT, Thames Valley Housing Association, said, “The implementation of the new system is a major project for us, with considerable technical and business complexity. It has been running successfully, meeting its key milestones and securing a green light from an internal audit review, and it is important that this progress is sustained.”
Jacqui Stoggall, Sovereign’s head of housing, will provide a helicopter view of TVHA’s Civica project, validating its progress and providing guidance on best practice and how to gain the greatest business value from the new system.
Morgan added, “We recognised the value of having an independent, experienced ‘sanity check’ to support the implementation of the new system. We anticipated reducing risk in the project by employing someone with experience of the typical pitfalls and how to avoid or mitigate them, and whose role it is to highlight recurring problems or blockers to keep the project on track.”
