Housing Centre UK, a mutual exchange service for social and affordable housing and part-ownership schemes, is now offering free registration for housing providers across the UK. The site is being developed in the run up to the government’s welfare reforms and the introduction of universal credit.
By registering, housing providers will be able to showcase all of their available properties on the site, advertise harder-to-let homes, and link in with their existing choice-based lettings schemes.
Nicola Downey, director, Housing Centre UK, said, “This year will see the biggest changes in welfare benefits for generations and existing tenants and those looking for low cost housing will need more help than ever to see what choices they have.”
