We are delighted to have raised £1,200 for The Big Issue Foundation at the Housing Technology 2020 conference last month. Housing Technology CEO George Grant provided copies of Big Issue ambassador Sabrina Cohen-Hatton’s book The Heat of the Moment following her keynote speech and collected donations from our generous attendees which raised £600. Housing Technology also matched this and donated a further £600.
George Grant said: ‘We are delighted to have made a contribution to The Big Issue Foundation which is a charity very close to our hearts. I have known Lord Bird for years and have a strong connection to The Big Issue. We are also proud to have raised these funds by supporting Big Issue ambassador Sabrina Cohen-Hatton and her inspiring account of dealing with homelessness at a young age and working as a senior firefighter. A big thank you to everyone for their contributions.’
