Accent Group has awarded a five-year contract worth around £750,000 to MIS Active Management Systems based around the supplier’s ActiveH housing management system. The ‘Tristar’ project encompasses the combined housing operations of Accent Group, Bromford Group and Accord Housing Association and is scheduled to be operational during autumn 2011.
Stuart Duthie, head of ICT, Accent Group, said, “This is one of the biggest projects we have ever done. Not only are we moving from eight systems to a single integrated system, but we are also simplifying the organisation by moving from almost 140 processes to just 46, alongside the implementation of clearer and more consistent reporting.
“Active-H’s CRM system will provide us with a full view of our tenants’ requests and circumstances so we can provide services to meet their needs, plus the workflow functionality in ActiveH lets us hand responsibility to our specialists while keeping track of our overall performance.”
Accent said that while the TriStar project was being managed by its ICT department, the focus was very much on meeting defined business requirements, with 80 members of Accent’s operational and front- line staff directly involved in the project through a series of workshops to map their new business processes.
Accent’s Duthie will be talking more about this project at the Housing Technology 2011 conference in February.
