Barking and Dagenham Reside, a housing provider owned by Barking and Dagenham Council, has partnered with Evo to digitally transform its repairs and maintenance services.
Evo will now assume responsibility for the delivery of repairs, liaising with contractors and management of repairs and maintenance-related documentation. Residents will also be able to report problems via the Evo app.
As well as speeding up its maintenance and repairs processes and offering a better service to residents, B&D Reside will use the Evo platform to create a more comprehensive history of its previous maintenance and repairs jobs in order to predict and plan its long-term property management strategy.
Michael Westbrook, chief executive, B&D Reside, said, “The digitisation of our repairs process is vital, especially because our tenants are working and need an efficient repairs process that can fit around their jobs. Evo’s technology also allows us to gather data that will help us to predict trends and plan our spending more accurately.”
