Berwickshire Housing Association is in the middle of implementing the ActiveH housing management system from MIS Active Management Systems.
Due to be operational by July 2010, the ActiveH system will be used by around 20 BHA staff managing 1750 properties around Duns. The new housing management system will be integrated with BHA’s Sun Systems finance application and its Homehunt choice-based lettings system.
Homehunt was originally developed by BHA and then provided to a number of other customers via its Homehunt Subsidiary since 2001. BHA has recently been operating the system as part of a Common Housing Register with two other local landlords.
David Loudon, head of corporate services, Berwickshire Housing Association, said, “We are delighted to be working with MIS in the implementation of what will be a key operational tool. We aim to achieve not only higher operational efficiencies with the new system, but also for it to be a key factor in us continuing to improve our customer service.”
