Mosscare Housing Group has completed the deployment of Orchard Information Systems’ community action system to monitor and combat anti-social behaviour (ASB). Mosscare already uses Orchard for its housing management system.
Jack Ellison, neighbourhood manager, Mosscare Housing Group, said, “Mosscare had already signed up to the Respect Standard for Housing Management and trained front-line staff and ASB officers. However, we could neither manage our ASB cases efficiently using our previous system of spreadsheets, databases and paper, nor could we report on our ASB performance.
“One of the main benefits of the community action system is the consistency the module provides, such as having clear definitions around case categories, urgency of cases, types of actions and outcomes which guide the user through the management of an ASB case.”
The Orchard community action system allows Mosscare to monitor the progress of its ASB cases, check whether they are being dealt with effectively, and provide ASB performance metrics to tenants. The system also allows Mosscare’s Neighbourhood & Community scrutiny panel to interrogate its ASB service.
