Blackpool Coastal Housing and Telecetera recently won the ‘Innovation in Housing Technology’ award at the Housing Excellence Awards in Manchester. The two organisations’ success follows the implementation of Telecetera’s workforce management system at BCH to support remote working and dynamic scheduling.
Cyril Holland, director, Blackpool Coastal Housing, said, “The award is a recognition of the transformation we have made in our services to tenants. The technology at our disposal now means we have a repairs and maintenance service that completes jobs quickly, minimises inconvenience to tenants and is more cost effective.”
Deployed across BCH’s 50 tradesmen, Telecetera’s Connect system allows the housing provider to plan and issue work directly through PDAs and lets staff monitor vehicle stock levels and replenish them when needed direct from local suppliers.
