Sovereign Business Integration has announced contracts with Bedfordshire Pilgrims Housing Association, Thrive Homes and East End Homes, with the common theme of improving the efficiency of the housing providers’ IT and business operations to reduce costs.
BPHA, an existing Sovereign customer with 15,000 homes and 300 staff, will be using Sovereign to carry out a process review for a customer contact centre, including mapping the customer journey with staff and residents and advising the housing provider on which business processes can be supported with a new dedicated centre.
With around 4000 properties in Hertfordshire following a stock transfer in 2008 from Three Rivers District Council, Thrive Homes is using Sovereign’s IT services to cover staff who are away and also to support any projects requiring additional IT resources. Ian Liddell, IT manager, Thrive Homes, said, “We are a small team and I am confident that Sovereign will help us to meet demands on the IT department to deliver efficiencies across the organisation.”
Having managing East End Homes’ IT service since its stock transfer of 2000 homes from the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in 2005, Sovereign has extended its contract for fully-outsourced IT services for another twelve months from April 2010.
Peter Gibbs, finance and resource director, East End Homes, said, “We manage our costs very carefully and outsourcing our IT function allows us to control our budgeting and to ensure that every cost is delivering value for money and maximum benefit to the business. Customer satisfaction survey results are consistently high and the staff view Sovereign’s technicians as very much part of the East End Homes team.”
