Having been an MIS customer for the past 12 years, Bromford Group is now standardising its technology infrastructure around the MIS ActiveH suite of products to support its management of more than 25,000 properties across central England.
Steve Percival, group director of ICT, Bromford Group, said, “We have grown substantially over the last decade and ICT has played a major role in providing the platform and infrastructure to facilitate that expansion. We acknowledge that compliance, consistency in customer service, internal efficiency, best practice and innovation require a solid backbone. In ActiveH we have a feature-rich family of products based on the industry-standard SQL Server database, allowing high levels of interoperability with other SQL systems and standard office applications. Last month we migrated one of the final modules, ActiveH Rents, to the SQL Server platform – the project was on time and under budget which is great to see when other ICT projects in all sectors too often fail to deliver.”
Looking ahead, Microsoft Sharepoint, Active Directory and Exchange are expected to be part of MIS and Bromford Group’s future development roadmap.
