Capita has been chosen as a supplier for the Local Government Software Application Solutions Framework. The new framework is intended to speed up the procurement process for local government by using a shortlist of pre-approved suppliers of software and support services.
Housing providers will also benefit from pricing advantages when buying a range of software from Capita for areas such as revenues and benefits, housing, and library management.
Ian Gates, divisional director of Capita’s software services business, said, “This new procurement framework gives local government the flexibility it needs when investing in a range of software to help them to deliver more services to the public for less. It also gives organisations faster access to a broader range of solutions and support services than before.”
