Trust Housing has agreed a four-year contract with CarelineUK for telecare services to 1,700 users in 23 local authority areas across Scotland. The contract will run until April 2015 and is worth around £125,000.
The contract covers out-of-hours and alarm monitoring for Trust’s residents, and extends CarelineUK’s presence in Scotland where it is already supporting and monitoring 6,000 residents.
Gail Gourlay, head of customer services, Trust Housing said, “The CarelineUK bid was selected following a competitive tendering process. The award of the contract was determined 70 per cent on quality and 30 per cent on price.”
