Circle Housing Group has just awarded a five-year contract to Consilium for a mobile working system comprising the TotalMobile and TotalRepairs products for its newly-merged DLO team. The contract is worth almost £350,000, with implementation of the new system started last month.
Circle is merging four of its direct labour organisations (DLO) into a single delivery arm, and consolidating its mobile working and repairs systems with Consilium. Up to 200 repairs and maintenance workers will soon begin using TotalMobile to eliminate paperwork and track jobs while in the field. Circle’s back-office staff will use TotalRepairs to manage jobs to their completion, track the costs incurred, schedule jobs better, manage stock effectively and handle financial transactions.
Mark Jones, group director of DLO, Circle Housing Group, said, “We are changing the way we deliver repairs to our 65,000 homes so that we can offer our customers a better service at a better price. A key part of this is the installation of a new mobile working and repairs system to reduce travel and admin time and to help ensure that operatives can complete jobs on the first visit.”
