London & Quadrant has implemented electronic document capture software and automated many of its business processes using a system from Capital Capture.
L&Q’s new system has improved its response times and day-to-day operations by reducing paper handling and manual processes, and provides better control and tracking of important documents, such as contracts and invoices.
Capital Capture’s system for L&Q is based on Kofax Capture software and Kodak document scanners. The software imports the scanned images and extracts the information required for delivery to the CRM system. The documents are then converted into PDFs and released into the CRM system.
Tim Mulvenna, assistant director of London & Quadrant’s customer service centre, said, “Being able to upload the scanned images to a customer record gives us a real advantage. It means that everyone has access to all the correspondence at the same time and lets us accurately measure how quickly we deal with customer post.”
Mulvenna added, “We have also used the solution to support our payment process and for the first time we are able to pinpoint the location of invoices, enabling us to track when they were received and how quickly they were paid.”
