Great Places Housing Group is using Shelton Development Services’ ProVal tool for development appraisals and its Sequel tool for financial and project management as an integrated SDS Solution package.
With 15,000 properties in 30 council areas across the North of England and a £150 million development programme for a further 980 homes by 2011, Great Places needed a dedicated system to manage its growing portfolio.
The SDS Solution was installed and Great Places staff trained in the system by March 2009.
Peter Bojar, assistant director of development, Great Places Housing Group, said, “We’re very happy with the way SDS Solution is working for us. We have over 40 employees in our development department, all juggling several projects at the same time, so the right software is essential to help us do our jobs as efficiently and effectively as possible.”
