Following the recent stock transfer between Ribble Valley Borough Council to Ribble Valley Homes, the housing organisation has migrated its housing management system from Northgate iWorld to Orchard ArcHouse.
To ensure a smooth transition, staff at Ribble Valley Homes have received training on the new system from v47 Training. Christine Grimshaw, managing director, Ribble Valley Homes, said, “Everybody is starting from the same point, and having had the benefits of training, we are starting with a fresh approach to IT which I am hoping staff will take forward.”
The training was carried out by Dave Asthall, a specialist in housing systems, from v47. Christine Grimshaw said, “We had a great advantage as v47 understood the process from both sides. Sometimes people with detailed technical knowledge find it difficult to appreciate things from a user perspective.”
