Following its launch of the Just Housing Resident Academy, which provides residents with accredited training in quality assessment, Just Housing now plans to create a web-based virtual university.
Keith Simpson, business development director, Just Housing, said, “This initiative is being driven by our CEO members who see the use of technology as an effective and efficient way of developing both staff and residents.”
The virtual university aims to promote best practice, improve the professional qualifications of housing staff, address tenants’ literacy and numeracy difficulties, and support financial inclusion among tenants.
