Places for People has just implemented PIMSS Data Systems’ new tablet solution, pimss4tablets, for all of its surveying operations.
Dean Moran from Places for People said, “We had been exploring mobile technology for some time, but we found that the available solutions were either unreliable or expensive so when pimss4tablets came along we were keen to explore it. Within six months we had evaluated a range of mobile devices, installed the product, completed testing and were up and running across the UK.”
Places for People now uses pimss4tablets for all of its surveys, allowing its staff to spend more time on site surveying, helping tenants and managing work programmes.
Moran added, “The solution reduces travel time and has freed our asset management back-office staff to focus on planning and strategy rather than data entry.”
