Leeds Federated Housing Association has replaced its previous multi-vendor housing management systems with a single integrated system from Civica following a nine-month implementation.
The new system, which went live in April 2012, will act as a single platform for LFHA’s housing operations including tenant communications, planned maintenance and responsive repairs, rent accounting, arrears recovery and tenancy management.
The Civica HMS is now live across all LFHA departments, resulting in better communication and information sharing between teams and making better use of staff time by reducing manual processing. The Civica system is also expected to improve customer service by capturing KPIs across LFHA’s tenant services for analysis and reporting.
Gail Monnickendam, deputy chief executive, Leeds Federated Housing Association, said, “A fully-integrated housing management system from a single provider is the foundation of our ongoing service transformation and cost savings. It is a great opportunity for us to improve the way we work and the processes we use to give our customers a more efficient service.”
