Liverpool Mutual Homes, the city’s newest registered social landlord, is to provide its 17,000 tenants with improved rent payment services in a deal with Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank.
LMH tenants will be given a plastic swipe card for making rent payments at any Post Office branch or at the 230 Payzone outlets in convenience stores, newsagents and petrol stations across Merseyside.
Peter Fieldsend, director of corporate services, Liverpool Mutual Homes, said, “The payment card makes it easier for our tenants to pay their rent, without incurring any additional payment charges. We are therefore delighted to be working with Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank, who have a long record of providing value for money services in the social housing sector.”
