Melville Housing Association has added a mutual exchange module from CES as a key part of a recent website upgrade. The CES module uses a map-based search facility to make it easier for tenants to see if there are possible ‘swap’ options in a suitable area. The module also makes it simpler for tenants to post details of properties available for exchange.
Helen Armour, director of HR and corporate services, Melville Housing Association, said, “Since CES helped us launch the original exchange section of our website almost two years ago, we have seen a number of benefits including a reduction in staff workloads as well as a better service for customers. It has also meant our exchange list is available to a far wider audience than our previous paper-based system.
“The big improvement with the new module is the search facility that allows customers to narrow down the search criteria resulting in far more relevant results. Having the option to search on a visual, map-based system as an alternative to scanning through a list also makes it much easier for customers.”
