North Lincolnshire Homes is set to implement new housing management and CRM systems from Aareon during an eight-month project.
NLH is the result of the transfer of 10,000 homes from North Lincolnshire Council in early 2007. Having also inherited the council’s housing management system as part of the transfer, NLH wanted to replace the original system with a fully-integrated housing management system to cover rents, arrears, repairs and maintenance (including appointments and job costs), DLO management, and KPI reporting.
The Scunthorpe-based housing association also wanted to improve its customer service with the implementation of a CRM system that could give its staff a single view of each customer.
Aareon’s QL housing management system was chosen by NLH alongside the QL CRM system. Aareon’s systems are based on the SQL Server database, enabling the Aareon systems to integrate closely with other systems, such Microsoft Office desktop applications and third-party document management systems.
Mike Eckersley, IT Manager, North Lincolnshire Homes, said, “We were looking for a fully-integrated housing management system. QL ticked all the boxes, and we are looking forward to a long and productive partnership with Aareon.”
Aareon said that the NLH contract was worth around £500,000 and will take eight months to implement, although exact dates are still to be confirmed.
