Family Mosaic has signed a three-year, £770,000 contract with Northgate Information Solutions to deliver a ‘one-stop shop’ for housing services to tenants in its 20,000 homes across London and Essex.
The initiative will see Northgate enable communication and information sharing between Family Mosaic’s front- and back-office systems and the introduction of mobile services for staff in the field, reducing the administrative burden on staff and making it easier for them to resolve tenants’ queries faster.
Brendan Sarsfield, chief executive, Family Mosaic, said, “Our relationship with Northgate will ensure that resources are used more effectively and improve the quality of housing services for tenants. We also believe in undertaking regular consultation with our tenants to find out what services can be improved.”
Meanwhile further North, Wolverhampton City Council and Northgate have signed an agreement worth £1 million over five years to transform housing and citizen services. Northgate will work with Wolverhampton Homes and the other managing agents responsible for looking after the council’s 22,300 homes, with the aim of giving staff access to comprehensive housing information, improving communications between tenants and housing staff, supporting diverse communities (including multi-lingual self-service systems), and enabling a ‘first-time fix’ housing repairs service. The implementation will be project managed by NCC Group.
Northgate will also give specialist advice on performance transformation to Wolverhampton Homes and the other managing agents, enabling them to realise efficiencies and focus on achieving the Decent Homes Standard.
