The social housing market remains profitable for Odyssey Interactive, with sales growth of more than 400 per cent in the sector in the past year. Part of Hasgrove Plc, Odyssey gained ten new housing customers in 2007, including Affinity Sutton, Carr-Gomm, Network Housing and Origin Group.
Nigel Danson, managing director, Odyssey, said, “Sales of our intranet product for housing associations, Interact, forms a key part of our overall strategy and has delivered a significant contribution to both revenues and profits in the year to 31 December 2007.”
Odyssey believes its success is due to Interact being structured to meet the specific needs of housing associations, such as the creation of secure areas on the intranet for documents for Audit Commission inspections, community initiatives, tenant involvement action plans and regulatory codes.
