Omniledger has extended its Pyramid housing management system to incorporate a Microsoft Outlook interface which sends staff emails, tasks and reminders at key trigger points.
Each department can create its own trigger points tailored to its specific needs, such as maintenance staff creating alerts for overdue repairs or inspections, or housing officers setting up alerts that would be triggered by increasing rent arrears or notice cases.
Omniledger’s system has both automated and interactive triggers. The automated triggers are controlled by Pyramid’s daily ‘housekeeping’ routines which look at data within Pyramid and automatically send the appropriate users an email with the relevant data. The interactive triggers prompt users to send an email; these initially default to specific users but recipients can be added, as well as additional information.
Examples of the triggers available within the system include if a tenant has not made a payment within a defined period, if a tenant’s arrears exceed a defined number of weeks, future void date notifications, and if the completion date for a repair has been exceeded.
