OmniLedger has extended its Pyramid housing management system with Pyramid Online to allow tenants to access their rent account, raise or enquire on current repairs and update their personal information, all via the RSL’s web site.
All data for the Pyramid Online service is hosted off-site by OmniLedger on a dedicated server and automatically updated outside normal working hours. Each tenant or contractor is given their own user name and password, along with a personal identification code for added security.
Lynne Shea, finance director, Colne Housing Society, said, “Pyramid Online has been popular with our residents as it’s all about giving them access 24 hours a day from their homes. Rent statements can be viewed and queries resolved with the income management team much faster, and repairs can be reported, appointments viewed, and work tracked from start to finish. This has reduced the number of calls that customer services have to deal with.”
Linc-Cymru Housing Association has already taken this service further and extended the online service to its contractors, allowing them to look at property-based data, such as gas certificates, photographs, building plans, and asbestos reports, to help them provide a better repairs service to tenants.
Graham Shellard, IT manager, Linc-Cymru Housing Association, added, “The new module is an ideal way of safely storing our asbestos certificates and sharing this vital information with the contractors with whom we work.”
