In a complete overhaul of its existing business applications, Manchester-based St Vincent’s Housing Association has awarded the contract for its entire housing management, repairs and maintenance, and finance systems to Omniledger. Implementation of Omniledger’s Pyramid housing management system is currently underway and is planned to be operational in January 2011.
Charlotte Norman, operations director, St Vincent’s Housing Association, said, “We carried out a thorough review of our IT systems during 2009/2010. We concluded that we needed to move away from our current position of using several different systems to a more integrated approach which would provide us with real-time management information.
“We chose Omniledger’s Pyramid because it met our brief and specification more than any other supplier. In short, we have selected a supplier who we know will work with us, will continue to innovate and a system that, while not as sophisticated as some of the other systems, is easy to understand and use.”
