Real Asset Management announced in December 2011 that it had reached a landmark figure of 100 customers from the social housing sector, with almost half of the contracts signed in 2011 alone due to the impending need for SORP compliance.
Karen Conneely, marketing manager, Real Asset Management, said, “Changes in the SORP guidelines have undoubtedly had a big impact on housing providers. Component accounting requires a level of detail that is beyond the capabilities of both general ledger and housing asset management systems.
“This is a great achievement for everyone employed at RAM and we are proud to be working with all our housing customers. We believe the attraction of the Asset4000 software lies in its flexibility to integrate with our customers’ finance and housing management systems and the expertise that our support staff and consultants can provide to our client base.”
