A low-cost website development tool has just been launched by Serif, specially tailored to the needs of smaller housing providers, non-profit organisations, clubs and societies. Serif’s WebPlus X6 package is intended for users without specialist technical skills and removes the need to hire external developers and designers
Combining drag-and-drop simplicity with advanced customisation power, WebPlus lets users create and control their own websites and includes social media integration, search engine optimisation and e-commerce. The off-the-shelf package also supports the development of smartphone- and tablet-based mobile sites.
Gary Bates, managing director, Serif, said, “There is no need to be online during the design phase and there are no restrictions on the number of sites, pages, store sizes or items per page. Users can create multiple sites to suit different audiences and, unlike most online template editors, they maintain permanent ownership of their websites, templates and custom designs.”
WebPlus X6 is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 and Vista/XP and costs £81.69 (inc. VAT).
