Sovereign Business Integration Group has promoted Tim Cowland to the role of its principal consultant.
The appointment expands his role from his core responsibility of project delivery and consultancy assignments to now also include a senior management role in the development of Sovereign’s service proposition, business growth and thought leadership within the housing sector.
Cowland’s experience of leading large, multi-disciplinary teams are complemented by his ITIL and Prince2 Practitioner qualifications. He has also recently broadened his qualifications to include the management of EU procurement legislation to ensure that all Sovereign customers are supported in adhering to the correct procedures and practices when carrying out procurement exercises. The company said that this latter expertise would be particularly useful given the changes to EU legislation that came into effect at the end of February.
James Threapleton, director of housing and public sector, Sovereign business Integration Group, said, “With Sovereign’s continued commitment to support the housing sector, we see Tim’s promotion as a key part of our planned expansion of the consultancy team this year. The experience and knowledge Tim brings to the management team will provide valuable insight into how we can further our working relationships and continue to deliver at the highest possible standard.”
