Synergy Housing Group has deployed a package of services from Star to improve services to its tenants and increase the efficiency of its internal processes.
The group, formed in 2004 from East Dorset Housing Association, Howell Housing Association, Purbeck Housing Trust and Weymouth and Portland Housing (in April 2006), manages approximately 8000 homes in the Wessex region.
Star’s package, designed to address the needs of Synergy’s 250 staff, included connectivity services, hosting, email and security without the financial, technical and resource costs of sourcing and implementing a solution independently.
Mark Bonelle, IT operations manager, Synergy Housing Group, said, “With Star’s managed MPLS network and security services, we are saving two hours of staff time every day, time that had previously been spent just managing spam.”
