Cascade HR has announced that Radian Housing, Wakefield and District Housing, and Trident Housing Association are each planning to implement its human resources and payroll software.
Radian Housing, with 1000 staff across its five group members, plans to deploy Cascade HR by May 2009 across four sites. It will be used by Radian’s HR team to manage all aspects of HR such as personnel, training, recruitment, workflow, self-service, attendance, appraisals and analysis and reporting. Tim Leather, head of IT, Radian Housing, said, “Cascade is one of very few completely browser-based solutions but is unique in that its browser-based system has been available for more than three years and so it has a depth of functionality that systems being released now just don’t have.”
Trident Housing Association, which manages 3000 homes in the Midlands, signed with Cascade in July 2008, with the implementation expected to be live by the end of 2008. David Draper, HR project manager, Trident Housing Association, said, “We needed a new HR and payroll system as our existing system is old and no longer meets the needs of the organisation. We chose Cascade because of the look-and-feel of the system and the fact that Cascade has a fully integrated HR-payroll system, not a ‘bolt-on’ facility.”
Wakefield and District Housing, which looks after 31,000 homes, signed in August 2008 for the complete set of Cascade modules, including core HR, payroll, e-recruitment, training, and self-service, with the system expected to phased in over the next 18-24 months. Cath Maloney, ICT business analyst, Wakefield and District Housing, said, “We needed an integrated solution, as the organisation currently relies on a number of outdated and inefficient standalone spreadsheets and Access databases, creating waste and reducing opportunities for effective management reporting. Workflow and self-service are vital components for us in generating efficiencies and Cascade stood out from its competitors in terms of its powerful and highly configurable system designer and workflow tools.”
