Six councils in Warwickshire are implementing Civica’s Cx Housing Assistance cloud-based software to cover their combined Home Environment & Assessment Response Team (Heart).
Heart is a partnership service between Nuneaton and Bedworth, North Warwickshire, Rugby, Warwick, Stratford-on-Avon and Warwickshire councils. It provides advice and assistance to deliver disabled adaptations and home improvements, including home aids, housing repairs and grants for essential building works.
Part of Civica’s wider Cx Regulatory Services platform, Cx Housing Assistance will help the councils in the Heart partnership simplify their workloads, deliver housing adaptations faster and reach those in need more efficiently. All six councils will feed into a new consolidated database, providing a comprehensive view of each service user.
Designed specifically for disabled adaptations and home improvements, the Civica software will provide improved process management capabilities, integrate with the councils’ existing applications to improve data sharing, and will allow managers to manage budgets better.
Becky Hale, assistant director for people, Warwickshire County Council on behalf of the Heart board, said, “The real value of this new deal with Civica is that people will be able to access the services they need quickly and easily, helping them live independently at home.”
