Xmbrace, supplier of the Opti-Time workforce and appointment scheduling software, has reached its 100-customer milestone with the recent signing of the Ian Williams property maintenance company.
Ian Williams is a specialist property maintenance company providing building, maintenance and refurbishment services. In order to improve services to tenants and achieve higher utilisation of its workforce, Ian Williams chose Opti-Time for dynamic scheduling and workforce management, becoming Xmbrace’s 100th customer in the process.
Mike Turner, development director, Ian Williams, said, “The system allows us to marry appointments with customers’ needs, gives residents a greater choice of appointment times and offers us dynamic scheduling, meaning that the right person turns up to do the right job at the right time. Opti-Time gives clients the ability to book directly into operatives’ diaries, send reminders to customers and even operative-on-the-way messages. By providing management information and reports, it allows us to identify patterns such as peak times for jobs or the postcode areas that are reporting more work, which allows us to adjust resources to fit the requirements.”
David Todd, managing director, Xmbrace, said, “Mobile working is starting to be understood as a culture, not a technology. Mobile working means being adaptive and flexible – mobile data technology, dynamic scheduling and a good supply chain are foundations on which new levels of service can be delivered.”
From Bournemouth Borough Council as Xmbrace’s first customer, others include HydeMartlet, Wrekin Housing Trust and Hounslow Homes.
