Milton Keynes YMCA, which provides long-term accommodation for 18-30 year olds, is due to go live with Kypera’s housing management system in June 2010.
Simon Green, housing manager, Milton Keynes YMCA, said, “Kypera’s system was far more modern than the others we looked at. The look and feel of the Kypera system is intuitive to any user of Microsoft Windows software – that’s a great advance over other systems.
“We are confident that the functionality of the system will enable our housing management service to operate better and will allow us to monitor and manage our service as efficiently as possible.”
As part of the YMCA deal, Kypera is currently only charging for service costs, with no software costs until the end of March 2010.
Craig Brock, business services manager, Kypera, added, “Our investment in the provision of a new housing solution using the Microsoft .NET development environment is delivering significant customer benefits, and we have plans later in 2010 to release new modules such as mobile working and anti-social behaviour.”
SeeAbility has also announced that it is implementing Kypera Housing alongside its existing Kypera Financials accounting system.
Justin Roxburgh, housing and development director, SeeAbility, said, “We have an ambitious new development programme and a rapidly expanding property portfolio so we needed an efficient housing management and maintenance solution. The Kypera system is very flexible and easy to use. I have been impressed with Kypera’s support and its help with data transfer and in setting the system up for us.”
